Hand held shower head complete with push button control, wall bracket and mounting screws. Extra long 84″ (2.1m) flex hose allows showering or hair washing from a seated position. The hose screws into existing shower spout using a diverter valve which allows the use of the original shower head when required.
Assembly Instructions
- Remove existing shower head from shower spout.
- Screw diverter valve on to the spout (include rubber washer). Do not use Teflon tape.
- Reassemble existing shower head to the top opening of the diverter valve and assemble the hose (including washer) to the bottom opening of the diverter valve.
- Assemble your new hand held shower to the other end of the hose (include washer).
- Use the screws and mounting inserts to fasten the bracket to the wall. The turn handle on the diverter valve will change the flow of water from the shower head to the hand held shower head.
- Notice: CSA has dictated that for safety reasons the on/off button on the shower head must not turn the water off completely. This is to prevent accidental scalding in the event that the hot water tap is left wide open when the shower head is turned off. Always turn the water off at the tap. Water dribbling from the shower head when the button is off does not indicate a faulty unit.
